USCIS Announces H-1B Cap Met for Fiscal Year 2013 

June 12, 2012 - U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that as of Monday, June 11, 2012, the 65,000 H-1B cap for fiscal year 2012 has been exhausted, and that as of Thursday, June 7, 2012, the 20,000 cap for employees with advanced degrees from U.S. colleges and universities was exhausted. As such, the next available H-1Bs will be available for filing on April 1, 2013, with a start date of October 1, 2013.
